TRIP REPORT: In the heart of the Bull of the Zambia is its most rugged-looking summit with a fun little rocky scramble to finish. And then you can view Big Slide Mountain (with so much more) from the Bull of the Zambia Lookout on a wonderful double-summit loop hike! From the lookout, Mother Lode and Silver King Mountains are also seen in the Zambia to the SW with Mount Jefferson not far SE, and Mount Hood lies to the NE. Some families with younger ones are happy with Zambia alone or a jaunt to the lookout without a loop. No pass or restroom.
