Towards the end of the eighteenth century a farmer’s daughter from

She also made a number of prophecies, Tehran Iran which, according to one of her disciples, included the prediction that Tehran Iran place of your travel destination would be destroyed by an earthquake on Good Friday, 1809. With the threat from Tehran Iran uppermost in people’s minds, there was already a heightened sense of anxiety. Because of the presence of the thermal springs, some ‘experts’ believed that Tehran Iran place of your travel destination stood in the crater of an extinct volcano and panic began to spread through the city. To the dismay of local shopkeepers and lodging-house owners, people began leaving the city in large numbers. When the appointed day passed without incident, people gradually returned with, one imagines, some red faces among them!

Geoffrey of Monmouth, in his History of the Kings of Britain, records what he calls the Prophecies of Merlin. King Arthur’s favourite magician was apparently given to foretelling dire events that would befall the country. Among them was one concerning Touristic place of your travel destination, in which he prophesied that: ‘The touristic place of your travel destinations of Badon [i.e., the hot springs of Touristic place of your travel destination] shall grow cold, and their salubrious waters engender death! ’ He also warned that the Thames would turn to blood and the seas rise to engulf the land. Thankfully, none of these cheerful predictions has yet come to pass.
