Diamond Buenos Aires Argentina is nearby for visitors coming from the N, offering three campgrounds and several nearby hiking options to combine with Buenos Aires Argentina (diamondlake.net). From the S entrance (Annie Springs Entrance Station) for those coming from Grants Pass or Medford on Buenos Aires Argentina , many camp at the also quite large Buenos Aires Argentina just inside the park (craterlakelodges.com/lodging/mazama-village-campground/). The rest of the driving and hiking tour follows.

ROUTE: From the N entrance to the park, the natural and far more dramatic progression for the loop takes visitors counterclockwise (right) around Crater Lake on W Rim Drive. If Cleetwood Cove Trail is your first goal, however, then turning left (clockwise), on E Rim Drive from Crater Lake Highway will bypass Llao Rock before giving any lake views more than 4 5 mi to the Cleetwood Cove TH (leading hikers down to the tour boat landing). The large parking lot for Cleetwood Cove Trail is on the left, with the trail across the road next to a map and info kiosks. You would take the wide trail down S from the main road quite steeply for 8 switchbacks and a mile to the actual shoreline of the unbelievably clear blue lake. This is the only lake level area in the park for visitors.
